Which one to pick

Choose Copper if

  • Your team lives in Gmail and Google Workspace and wants the CRM there.
  • You want person email and company domain enforced as unique keys, so API creates cannot duplicate them.
  • You want simple listed per-seat prices with no onboarding fee: Professional at $59 a month billed annually includes the API.
  • Your API volume fits within 180 requests a minute.

Choose HubSpot if

  • You want to start free: up to 2 users and API access with no card.
  • You load data in volume: 100 records per batch call and imports of up to 80,000,000 rows a day.
  • You need webhooks that are retried when your endpoint is down.
  • You want an AI agent to read and write CRM records today through an official MCP server.
  • You use Outlook or another non-Google mailbox.

If neither fits: Both store your own records. If the real job is getting emails for a list of people, find and verify them first, then load them into whichever CRM you pick.
