If neither fits: If the only job is finding work emails for a list you already have, a single email finder may be enough. The guide below compares finder APIs, waterfalls and agent routes.
How to find a person's work email addressChoosing between Clay and FullEnrich, or moving from one to the other? Tell us your setup. We will show you how we would run it, and what we would check first.
It means trying several data providers for the same contact, so a miss at one provider is not the end of the search. In Clay you build the waterfall yourself in a table; on 25 Oct 2026 its work email waterfall used 11 providers at about 1.1 data credits a row. FullEnrich runs its own waterfall across 20+ providers behind one API call and charges only for verified results.
No. Clay is one way to do it: you choose and order providers in a table and pay Data Credits plus Actions, from $185 a month billed monthly on Launch. FullEnrich sells a ready-made waterfall as an API, with 50 free credits and then $29 a month billed monthly for 500 credits. Clay earns its place when the waterfall is one step among several, such as signals, AI research and CRM updates.
For contact data alone it can be enough: one API call returns work emails, personal emails and mobiles, and nothing is charged when nothing passes verification. FullEnrich does not publish which providers it uses or in what order. Clay fits when you want to choose the providers yourself or add steps beyond contacts, and it can run FullEnrich as one of its providers.
Clay has a Free plan with 500 actions and 100 data credits a month. Launch is $185 a month billed monthly or $167 a month billed annually, with 15,000 actions and 2,500 data credits a month. Growth is $495 billed monthly or $446 billed annually. Most AI models cost a flat number of data credits per task; token-heavy models are priced on the tokens used. Verified 2026-10-25.
Neither tool charges for a miss. Clay charges no Data Credits and no Actions when an enrichment returns nothing. FullEnrich charges 0 credits when nothing passes verification. One difference: FullEnrich counts a Catch-all email as found and charges 1 credit for it, so filter on the email status if you want only Deliverable addresses.
Yes. FullEnrich is one of Clay's providers: on 25 Oct 2026 the app listed it at 1.5 data credits per work email and 25 per mobile phone per row. FullEnrich's docs also describe running it in Clay with your own FullEnrich API key. With your own key, Clay charges Actions only and FullEnrich bills its own credits.
