Rate limits

60 API calls per minute, fixed calendar-minute window, across all endpoints (Enrich, Reverse Email, Search).

LimitFree trial / ProEnterprise
Limit60 calls/min, queue 100Custom rate limits & priority queue
More on limitsLess

Up to 100 contacts per bulk call (6,000 contacts/min). Default queue 100 concurrent enrichments and 100 concurrent reverse lookups per workspace; extra contacts wait, jobs never expire. Polling consumes the limit. Higher limits and queue for partners/Enterprise.

How to get an API key

FullEnrich uses API key. The steps below follow FullEnrich's own docs.

  1. Create a FullEnrich account. The Free trial plan includes API access.
  2. app.fullenrich.com/app/api after free trial signup (no card) AND phone/SMS verification, which is mandatory before the API page opens; keys can carry a consumption limit (per-user credit limits are a Pro feature).
  3. Make a first call: Start waterfall enrichment for 1-100 contacts (work email, mobile, personal email). Keep the key in an environment variable, never in the command.
    curl -X POST "https://app.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk" \
      -H "Authorization: Bearer $FULLENRICH_API_KEY" \
      -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
      -d '{}'

Strengths and limits

Where it fits

  • Maximising find rate for mobiles and work emails without wiring your own provider waterfall
  • Mobile numbers with line type, active status, US/Canada owner-name match and connect-rate buckets
  • Embedding enrichment in a product: async batches of 100, per-contact webhooks, signed payloads, custom passthrough fields
  • Reverse email lookup (work or personal email to full person + company profile) at 1 credit
  • Unlimited-seat teams: no per-user pricing

Where it falls short

  • Real-time synchronous lookups: enrichment takes typically 30-90 seconds per contact
  • Cheap bulk list building: search costs 0.25 credit per record returned (Prospeo is 1 credit per 25)
  • Stacking inside another waterfall
  • High-throughput polling: 60 calls/minute shared across all endpoints

Worth knowing

  • Catch-all emails are charged 1 credit like Deliverable ones (credits doc); filter on status if you only want DELIVERABLE (2% bounce) vs HIGH_PROBABILITY (9% bounce)
  • No dedup within the same bulk, and simultaneous requests for the same contact are not deduplicated; dedup is on exact input, so a variant name/domain/LinkedIn URL is charged again
  • Results are kept 3 months only (GDPR); fetching an enrichment_id after that errors, and re-enriching after 3 months costs credits again
  • custom field values must be strings; a number returns an error
  • If no most_probable_* field comes back, nothing passed verification and no credit was used, even when work_emails[] or phones[] are non-empty
7 moreShow fewer
  • Search offset is capped at 10,000; use search_after beyond that, and its ordering can shift after the monthly database update
  • Lookup endpoints are billed at search pricing, not free
  • Test for free with the hard-coded FullEnrich team contacts (exact data on the credits page)
  • The pricing comparison table says search has '15+ filters' while the Pro plan card says '30+'; the OpenAPI people search lists 30 filter fields
  • Docs say 20+ providers, pricing says 25+; which providers are chained is not published
  • Free trial is not frictionless: signup needs no card, but onboarding forces phone (SMS) verification before the 50 credits or the API key unlock.
  • Plan-differences table: per-user credit limits, credit monitoring and low-credit alerts are NOT on the Free trial, despite 'full Pro feature set'. Source: fullenrich.com/pricing.md (verified 2026-10-25)

Our take

We left FullEnrich out of an enrichment waterfall we built for a B2B data company: it is itself a multi-provider waterfall that overlapped the providers we already called, and the orchestration platform we used could run it only on the platform's own credits.

Who should use it

Use FullEnrich for
Maximising find rate for mobiles and work emails without wiring your own provider waterfall
Look elsewhere for

Before you build

Four things to settle first, each read off FullEnrich's own pages.

  • Confirm the API is on your planThe Free trial plan includes API access. Free tier: Free trial: $0, 50 credits, no credit card, full Pro feature set incl.
  • Keep the key out of your codeAPI key.
  • Design around the rate limit60 API calls per minute, fixed calendar-minute window, across all endpoints (Enrich, Reverse Email, Search).
  • Know the catch before you scaleCatch-all emails are charged 1 credit like Deliverable ones (credits doc); filter on status if you only want DELIVERABLE (2% bounce) vs HIGH_PROBABILITY (9% bounce)
