If neither fits: Both store your own records. If the real job is getting emails for a list of people, find and verify them first, then load them into whichever CRM you pick.
How to find a person's work email addressWe moved a B2B data company from Pipedrive to HubSpot with HubSpot's built-in Smart Transfer, keeping CSV import as the fallback. Core records landed within a week of kickoff. The team ran both CRMs side by side for about four months before switching Pipedrive off.
Choosing between HubSpot and Pipedrive, or moving from one to the other? Tell us your setup. We will show you how we would run it, and what we would check first.
Most records move. When we moved a B2B data company from Pipedrive to HubSpot, Smart Transfer carried about 3,700 companies, 4,300 contacts and 1,150 deals within a week of kickoff. Three things needed extra work: logged email bodies (imported per user from Gmail), meetings (1,372 of 1,374 failed on missing links or descriptions), and email templates and e-signature links, which did not carry over. Write the field mapping down and get sign-off before you start.
Yes. In 2026 we moved a B2B data company from Pipedrive to HubSpot. We used HubSpot's built-in Smart Transfer with CSV import as the fallback, brought email history in through HubSpot's historical email import from Gmail, and passed on third-party migration tools because they needed full logins to both CRMs.
For the Pipedrive to HubSpot move we ran, core records landed within a week of kickoff. The transfer itself took about two hours, and HubSpot's daily limit spread it over two days. One user's email history, about 1,000 emails, took two days to import. The team then ran both CRMs side by side for about four months before switching Pipedrive off.
