If neither fits: If all you need is a verified work email per person, a dedicated email finder that charges only when it finds an address may cost less. The email finder guide compares them.

In credits, Lusha charges 5 credits per phone revealed. Apollo charges 1 credit for the matched person plus 8 when a mobile is returned, so 9 in total. Credit prices differ by plan on each, so compare the plan you would buy. On Lusha, phones filled by Data Waterfall from another vendor are priced differently in different Lusha docs (a flat rate on the Data Waterfall page, the provider's own rate in the changelog); pass waterfallEnabled false to keep Lusha data only.
Partly on both. On our Apollo Free account, company enrichment worked but people search returned 403, even with a master key; Apollo says all paid plans include full API access. Lusha's Free key worked with limits of 100 calls a day and 40 a minute, and 40 credits a month.
Not for their own data. Apollo charges 0 credits when enrichment finds nothing, and an organization enrich miss on our account cost 0. Lusha's billing FAQ says NOT_FOUND results are not charged, though its API introduction page says a minimum of 1 credit per request; two empty searches on our key cost 0. Apollo notes that some waterfall vendors charge per lookup even without a result.
Yes, both are official. Apollo's is at mcp.apollo.io/mcp and covers search, enrichment, CRM records and sequences; headless clients can send a master key. Lusha's is at mcp.lusha.com with 50 tools, using OAuth for Claude, ChatGPT and Codex or an x-api-key header elsewhere.
Yes. Standard Apollo plans are for internal use; resale or redistribution needs a separate agreement. The terms ban using the API with LinkedIn automation tools and allow AI training only on your own internal models, and the MCP terms ban model training outright.
